Edward was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, he attended Llanfechain Primary / Llanfyllin High School and completed a year at Walford and North Shropshire college.
He spent some of his primary years in Shropshire, England and Johannesburg, South Africa.
Unfortunately our time with Edward was cut short, he passed away at just 18 years of age after a short relapsed childhood illness, but he remains in our hearts, his memory lives on through his published works.
An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language.
Edward had become an accomplished & internationally published photographer as well as being one of the principal Our Dogs official canine photographer’s by the time he was 16 years of age.
His first canine photo had been taken at the age of 14, his second won awards on the internet out of 8523 entries for which he could not claim his prize because he had not paid a membership fee to the company.
He launched his career in photography and began his website where he shared his work with the world, now worldwide known the Snap An Image website which was originally Edward’s repository for his photographs, is managed by his eldest brother William, who in his own right is now also an internationally published canine/animal specialist photographer working alongside and with ‘Our Dogs’ Newspapers as part of their principal press team.
Edward had also enjoyed his own successes in the dog show ring with his long haired dachshunds known as his golden girls Ch Frankanwen High Light On Zarcrest & Zarcrest Oh Gosh I’m Posh.
