Zara Boyle

Senior (Sole) Affix Holder

Biography

Active as a handler in her junior years, Zara has had experience handling many breeds throughout the groups. Harry and Margaret added her to the affix in 1980.

The affix is a combination of both Zara’s Christian names, Zara and both of her sons all carry the old family paternal surname of ‘Cresswell’ as their second names.

Zara remains the principal handler for the kennel but is slowly handing over the reins to the younger ones.  Zara is responsible for almost all of CC’s awarded to the dogs within the UK, Northern Ireland, Eire, and South Africa, covering four breeds in the hound group and one breed in the gundog group.

Zara is the main person responsible for the maintenance of all the coats cared for at Zarcrest on a three day rotation.

Winners never quit and quitters never win.
