Has not been a quiet year for us, with our American Cocker’s either, Sh Ch Zarcrest After Blend has finished his puppy career as OUR DOGS TOP PUPPY OF THE YEAR (ALL BREEDS) 2024, and gained his crown at his first show after being 12 months old, now sitting on 8 Challenge Certificates.
His Grandson Zarcrest Red In The Room is also ‘Our Dogs & Showdachs’ Top Puppy (UK) 2024 owned by Olivia Dalton and Liam Beech.

DetailsRichard Chaffe judged the breed and awarded Kenchii with DCC and BPIB, Kenchii then went onto win the Gundog Puppy Group, returning on the last day to compete with the 6 other puppy group winners for the BPIS competition.
After an overnight ferry we arrived at Belfast feeling refreshed and despite the long wait we were thrilled to win RDCC, BPIB under David Shields and P Grp 2 under Frank Whyte.
Peter Young officiated the breed and he awarded Zarcrest After Blend with 1st in PD, DCC and BPIB. He later went onto win the Puppy Group under Tan Negrecha.
Peter Pavey was officiating at Richmond and he awarded Kenchii with the DCC and BPIB, he later went on to top the gundog puppy group under Jan Erik Ek from Sweden. There is a video of him on his page from this show.
DetailsBPIB under Ann Orzel, PGrp 1 under group specialist Carol Coode, and a quick ttrip home to rebath the boy and return the next day where he blew us away with winning under the UK’s Top All Rounder Judge Zena Thorn-Andrews.
Down to Paignton to show under Dr Ron James where he won his 3rd CC (Not a Champion – Not old Enough! 🙂 He also took BPIB and PGrp 1 under Becky Johnson.
Zarcrest After Blend, delighted us all at Leeds under (All-Rounder) Mr Moray Armstrong (Bitcon) where he won his second CC with BPIB and then went onto win PGroup 2 under Blackpool secretary Mr Stevie Hall.
At the Queens Castle, Kenchii took it all he managed to win his first CC with BPIB and won the Eukanuba Puppy of the Year heat overall under Bill Grey (breed specialist)
Martyn Rees was judging the breed today, and Kenchii couldn’t have put a foot wrong, He was awarded under Ian Sexton with Puppy Group 1 and went on to return to achieve BPIS, along with winning the Prestigious Eukanuba Puppy Stakes under Bill Grey
