At ZARCREST, we take great pride in our reputation as premier breeders of DACHSHUND MINI LONGHAIRED and AMERICAN COCKER SPANIELS. Since 1985, we have consistently ranked among the UK’s top breeders. Our dogs are recognized globally for their exceptional quality, and we have placed puppies in loving homes across our local villages, as well as in the USA, Canada, Australia, and throughout Europe and the UK.

While not all of our puppies are destined for show homes, our primary commitment is to ensure that every DACHSHUND MINI LONGHAIRED and AMERICAN COCKER SPANIEL we breed becomes a cherished family pet. Many of our puppies, originally homed as pets, have found success and joy in the world of dog shows, often achieving significant acclaim.

Our puppies are available both as show dogs and beloved family companions. We hold no distinction in how we care for them, all our puppies are special. They are deeply adored and deserve the best possible start in life, along with the opportunity to become an integral part of a loving family. To ensure this, we have a rigorous selection process to match each puppy with the right owner. For us, getting this right is crucial, failure is never an option.

It is no longer an easy procedure to source the exact puppy that you are dreaming about (ie: colours, sex or age) this is mainly due to all of the new UK laws and guidelines which have been necessary for Councils to enforce on the commercial breeding establishments but in turn, these laws have had a major impact on the old fashioned hobby breeders.

The current length of the waiting lists of Hobby Breeders in the UK has seriously increased and we hope we can offer you some assistance in your search, even if we don’t have anything that matches your specific preferences. Please do feel that you can contact us at any time, for a chat as we may know where there is a litter or one of our Stud Dogs may have sired a litter of puppies bred by a reputable hobbyist breeder.
