Looking back at 2017 it started with some unforgettable highs winning Welsh Junior of the Year with our American bitch, Sh Ch Mischtikals Pole Dancer at Zarcrest, following on quickly was the BCC at Crufts, a number of reserves and her crown came on home turf at WKC!
Her Sire, Sh Ch (UK, NL) Mischtikals Texas YE14,W14,W16, was lightly shown but won two Eukanuba Champion Stakes classes in excellent company and gained his Dutch title notching up group placings.
In Long haired Ch Zarcrest Hugo Boss made an appearance just four times, taking two further CCs with BOB and two reserves.
In miniature longs we showed three new babies from June, Zarcrest Gold Business, Zarcrest Black Smith RCC and BPIB Winner and Zarcrest Black Brewer who won his first RCC at just 6 mths, followed by his first CC at 9 mths and he became a champ show BPIS Winner on his final puppy appearance, one month later he became a Daddy to two beautiful little girls and a son.
On the lows, we have said Goodbye to some old friends, both human and canine, their memories will live on but it doesn’t make it any easier.
We also had to bid Goodbye to a young male who had touched our hearts during his time with us which has left my family rather heartbroken to say the least!
On a lighter note our homebred American puppy Zarcrest Tri This One made her debut winning BAVNSC Gundog Puppy at her first outing.
Here’s looking onwards and upwards to 2018 and all of it’s up and downs which we hope will be an UP making dreams come true for all of our friends…
Many appreciations to all of the Judges who made all of this possible.
