Once upon a time, the title for this post sprung to my mind this morning, having been all alone with this baby as he was born, watching and nurturing him every step of every day, watching him grow, develop and become the beauty he became day by day astounded me as i was almost too scared to drop a penny in case it wasn’t all perfect, but he was and he grew from a little prince into the handsome king so quickly, in reality.
It was almost too much some days, how high would he climb today, would he go all the way? or triumph over the lower sections? or even the centre ones? or fly higher to the top spot? This wonderpup as he was nicknamed certainly gave us a never-ending and exhausting ride during 2024.
Today winning his seventh CC, at 13 months old he came home to me as a third-generation Show Champion for the line i had dreamed of for more years than i care to mention, in this spectacular and absolutely fabulous breed.
